The objective of Agenda and Development strategies: The case of Peru is to present a navigation chart for the country, in which the high-priority topics, matters and subjects are included in the national agenda aimed to achieve the objectives of development and the goals on poverty reduction and inclusion. More then ten years ago in the first published document, we present an Agenda of consensus; this agenda was obtained through a number of interviews, and consultations to citizens and experts aimed to identify a national agenda with a country vision, that include high-priority subjects and strategic lines to follow.

As result of an applied and integrative research approach Francisco Sagasti elaborated the essay “Peru: Manual del Despegue” published by CARETAS magazine on July of 2011. This document was sent to the main authorities and decision makers’ of the country. If you wish to obtain the manual (only available in Spanish) please click here
